Inbox & Email Threads¶
Brightenly's inbox captures your client email conversations so you can manage them alongside your projects, contacts, and invoices — without switching to your email client.
The inbox¶
The inbox is organized into three tabs:

| Inbox | Emails received from clients |
| Sent | Emails you've sent |
| Drafts | Emails you've started but not sent yet |
Conversations are sorted by most recent activity. Click any conversation to open the full thread.
How emails get into Brightenly¶
When your Gmail account is connected, Brightenly syncs incoming and outgoing emails automatically. Emails to and from your clients appear as conversations in your inbox in real time.
If you're using the Brightenly email address instead of Gmail, forward client emails to your assigned Brightenly address and they'll appear here.
Viewing a thread¶
Inside a conversation, you'll see the full message thread with timestamps and participant names. The sidebar shows linked contacts, companies, and projects.
