Payment Methods¶
Clients can pay Brightenly invoices by card or bank transfer, both processed securely through Stripe.
Enabling payment methods on an invoice¶
When creating or editing an invoice, click Payment Methods to choose which options to offer your client:
- Card — credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.)
- Bank transfer — direct bank-to-bank payment (also known as ACH in the US or BACS in the UK)
You can enable one or both options per invoice.
Client experience¶
When your client receives the invoice email, they click the payment link to open a Stripe-hosted payment page. They choose their preferred payment method and complete the payment — no account required.
Receiving payouts¶
Payments land in your connected Stripe account and are paid out to your bank account on Stripe's standard payout schedule. You can view payout details and history in your Stripe dashboard.
Note
Bank transfer availability depends on your Stripe account's country. Not all countries support bank transfer as a payment method.
