Creating a Project¶
A project represents a deal or piece of work. Projects live on your kanban board and move through pipeline stages as work progresses.
How to create a project¶
Click the + button at the top of any kanban column, or use the New Project button in the sidebar.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Summary | A short description of the work (up to 500 characters) |
| Priority | Low, Medium, or High |
| Currency | The currency for invoices on this project |
| Close date | The expected or target completion date |
| Contacts | One or more contacts associated with this project |
| Companies | One or more companies associated with this project |
Associating people and companies¶
A project can be linked to multiple contacts and companies. Linked contacts and companies will see related invoices and conversations surfaced on their detail pages.
Where the project lands¶
New projects are created in the Inquiry column by default. You can drag and drop them to any column once created.
Editing a project¶
Open any project card and click Edit to update its fields. You can also update the summary, priority, and close date inline from the project detail panel.
