Kanban Boards & Lists¶
Your kanban board is the central view for tracking all active work. Each column (list) represents a stage in your pipeline, and project cards move between columns as work progresses.
Default pipeline columns¶
Brightenly comes with a set of built-in pipeline stages:

|---|---|
| Inquiry | A new lead or potential project |
| Proposal Sent | You've sent a proposal, waiting on a decision |
| Contract Signed | The contract is signed, work is confirmed |
| Payment Received | Invoice has been paid |
| Completed | Work is done and closed |
| Not Now | On hold or declined for now |
These default columns cannot be deleted.
Custom columns¶
You can add your own columns to fit your workflow. Click Add Column at the right edge of the board, give it a name and a color, and it will appear in your pipeline.
Custom columns can be renamed, recolored, or deleted. Deleting a column moves all cards in it to the Inquiry column.
Moving projects¶
Drag and drop a project card from one column to another. The move is saved instantly and reflected across all team members viewing the board.
Multiple boards¶
You can create multiple kanban boards — for example, one for client projects and one for internal work. Switch between boards from the sidebar.
