Supported Countries for Stripe¶

Brightenly's invoicing and payment features are powered by Stripe. The countries where you can accept payments depend on where your Stripe account is registered.

Where you can register a Stripe account¶

Stripe supports businesses in 40+ countries. Common supported countries include:

United States
United Kingdom
Canada
Australia
Germany
France
Japan
Netherlands
Singapore
Ireland

What this means for you¶

Your Stripe account must be registered in a supported country
The currencies available to you depend on your country
Payment methods like bank transfer (ACH, BACS) are only available in specific countries

What this means for your clients¶

Your clients can pay from anywhere in the world — there are no geographic restrictions on who can pay a Brightenly invoice.

Checking your Stripe account country¶

You can confirm your Stripe account's registered country in your Stripe dashboard under Account settings.

Note

If you need to accept payments in a country where your Stripe account is not registered, you'll need to create a separate Stripe account in that country.
