Tracking Signing Status

Brightenly shows the real-time status of every contract so you always know where things stand.

Contract statuses

Status	What it means
Draft	Contract is being prepared; not yet sent
Sent	Sent to signers; awaiting signatures
Signed	All signers have completed signing
Cancelled	Contract was voided after sending
Expired	The signing deadline passed without all signatures

Checking individual signer progress

Open a contract in Sent status to see which signers have signed and which are still pending. Each signer shows a status of Pending, Viewed, or Signed.

Downloading the signed document

Once a contract reaches Signed status, click Download to save the signed PDF to your computer.

Reminders

If a signer hasn't signed after a few days, open the contract and click Send Reminder. They'll receive a fresh email with the signing link.
